Personal Notes

My passion for financial education stems from a deeply personal experience of undergoing a dramatic lifestyle change during high school. The 1994 economic crisis in Mexico, one of the worst in the country’s history, severely impacted my family’s quality of life, as well as that of millions of Mexicans. Savings were wiped out due to the massive devaluation of the Mexican peso and the resulting high inflation rates. The banking system collapsed, and interest rates skyrocketed to as high as 70% in 1995. I personally witnessed how those with even a basic understanding of personal finance fared better than many who didn’t.
