When it comes to finances, there are many people and programs that assist others in seeing down the road; however, called to act, I am committed to help people see around the corner. Most teenage and college-age students who are just starting out are in need of objective financial mentors and guidance. I aim to serve these learners through practical, strategic, and accessible information, knowledge and techniques, assuring their journeys are well-prepared, adaptive, and successful.
Bio
Nicholas “Nick” Dorn, MA, MBA is a mission-driven educational leader with a proven track record of designing and scaling inclusive, high-impact programs across education, nonprofit, and public and private business sectors. He brings over two decades of experience building cross-sector partnerships, leading diverse teams, and shaping strategic initiatives that elevate learning and empower communities. Throughout this work, Nick continues to advance inclusive, impactful learning and social change. He has committed himself to helping young people (particularly, first-time job and internship holders) draft better financial blueprints for their envisioned futures, starting with sound financial literacy and empowerment. Equipping young people with the critical skills and insight needed to navigate the currents in the financial services industry, Nick helps others avoid the riptides, shoals, and rocks that sidetrack and beach intrepid voyagers – in other words, to keep individuals on course. Leading with empathy, engagement, and optimism, Nick brings a deep commitment to service and enrichment. His classrooms and seminars are engaging, interactive, case-study oriented, and down to earth. Rooted in values of equity, collaboration, and innovation, Nick is energized to connect systems-level change with on-the-ground impact in education, workforce development, social innovation, and mission-aligned programming and businesses.
