Hi! I’m Kate Channell, MBA, an Instructor in the School of Business Administration at USC Aiken, where I teach Personal Money Management and lead the Pacer $mart financial literacy program. As a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI), I am passionate about helping students build real-world money skills and make confident financial decisions. I partner with community organizations to deliver engaging financial education on campus, in local schools, and in the community.

Hi! I’m Kate Channell, MBA, an Instructor in the School of Business Administration at the University of South Carolina Aiken, where I teach Personal Money Management. I’m passionate about helping students build lifelong financial skills which transfer nicely to their professional careers. With over a decade of experience in higher education and a background in business, I blend real-world financial principles with practical, student-centered instruction.
As an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ (CFEI), I empower students to make confident, informed financial decisions—from budgeting and saving to understanding credit, insurance, and loans. Additionally, I lead the Pacer $mart financial literacy initiative, coordinating partnerships with financial institutions and community leaders to deliver high-impact programming on campus, in local high schools, and in the community.
