A bald man yelling at me in high school completely changed my life.
That man? Dave Ramsey.
As a high school senior, I was required to take his personal finance class. Up to that point, I knew nothing about money. Not because I didn’t care — no one had ever taught me. Not my parents. Not my teachers.
But that class flipped a switch.
I graduated college with a debt-free degree, a fully funded emergency fund, and maxed-out retirement accounts. Later, I shared my story in a YouTube comment — and somehow, it landed me in Dave’s documentary, Borrowed Future.
Being in a movie was fun. But the real gift was learning how to control my money early. That’s what gave me the freedom to live the life I’ve been called to live.
And that’s why I do what I do today, help people move from financial chaos to clarity. Because when you understand how to manage your money, you stop living in survival mode and start living with intention. You gain the freedom to pursue the life you were created for. And when more people step into that kind of freedom, the ripple effect can change families, communities, and even the world.

Since then, he’s traveled the country teaching over 1,000 students and parents how to earn a debt-free degree, led four digital personal finance courses, and helped clients collectively save and invest over $100K.
