Dr. Victoria Washington is an educator with 22 years of public education experience. She is the President of Washington Consulting, LLC, a firm providing an array of educational services to individuals and organizations to impact growth, development, and success. She continues to work in the field of education, serving as a mentor and helping to improve school organizations through development of continuous improvement plans and professional development opportunities for teachers and leaders. Prior to this work, Dr. Washington served as a middle school principal with prior experience as an assistant principal having consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities, a deep commitment to student success, and an unwavering dedication to improving educational outcomes in Title I, underperforming schools. Prior to serving as an instructional leader, she served as a secondary English teacher and a professional development facilitator. Dr. Washington holds a B.A. English (UM), a M.Ed in English (ASU), a M.Ed in Instructional Leadership (UM), and an Ed.S and an Ed.D in Educational Leadership (NCU). Dr. Washington is a member of CLAS and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She prides herself on being a mother of two daughters, JaMya and Jaiden, who are exceptional students performing at optimal levels in academics, leadership, and community service. She enjoys traveling, online shopping, and spending time with her family.
