Bio
Sandhya Gopal is an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ (CFEI®) and founder of SpendItRight LLC, a fee-only financial advisory firm in Texas.
Before founding SpendItRight, Sandhya spent over 15 years in corporate leadership roles managing multi-million dollar budgets in global organizations. That analytical background shapes how she educates and works with clients
today.
Sandhya delivers personal finance workshops and educational programs to help women build financial literacy and confidence during major life transitions – including divorce, post-divorce rebuilding, and career changes. Her workshops focus on practical, math-driven frameworks that help attendees understand their financial picture and make informed decisions.
She is also a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) and Registered Investment Adviser in Texas, bringing professional rigor to both her educational and advisory work.
Sandhya is passionate about teaching financial concepts to women navigating major life transitions. She is actively exploring ways to expand her educational reach and make financial clarity more accessible.
She holds a Masters in Finance from the University of Houston and a Masters in Industrial Engineering from The Ohio State University.
