Dr. Wally T. Luckeydoo provides comprehensive financial literacy and career education programs that empower students, families, and underserved communities to build practical money management skills. His work focuses on giving people access to high-quality financial education, teaching personal finance in a hands-on, engaging way, and mentoring learners to make informed financial decisions that have a lasting impact on their lives. Through innovative programs, simulations, and partnerships with leading organizations, Dr. Luckeydoo equips learners with the knowledge and confidence to navigate real-world financial challenges. Since becoming actively involved in the financial wellness movement, Dr. Luckeydoo has partnered with organizations such as the National Jump$tart Coalition for Personal Finance, Tennessee Jump$tart, Junior Achievement, EverFi, Next Gen Personal Finance, Banzai, Intuit, the National Business Education Association, the National Financial Educators Council, and the Tennessee Financial Literacy Commission. These collaborations allow him to deliver dynamic workshops, interactive learning experiences, and mentorship opportunities that reach students and families across local, state, and national levels. His initiatives include personal finance simulations, guest speaker engagements, and practical project-based learning focused on budgeting, credit management, investing, and career planning. Dr. Luckeydoo is also currently developing a personal finance passion project called MoneySecret, which explores Behavioral Finance and financial psychology to help people think and talk about money in new ways.
Dr. Luckeydoo’s programs and contributions are recognized through rigorous professional standards and certifications. He holds multiple financial literacy certifications, including the Personal Financial Literacy Certification from the Texas Tech University Center for Financial Responsibility, the W!SE Financial Literacy Certification, Next Gen Personal Finance certifications, and the Personal Financial Educator Certificate from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business. These credentials, combined with his extensive professional development and experience in instructional technology, ensure that his programming meets national standards for financial literacy education.
