Miles Raymond
Financial Literacy Advocate

Personal Notes
Having attended public school my entire life, I have seen firsthand how uneven access to resources affects students. Most young people do not truly learn financial literacy until they are faced with managing their own money, which can leave them unprepared for important decisions. Volunteering in my community taught me that even small actions can create meaningful change, but I realized I wanted to do more. My interest in investing soon grew into a passion for finance, entrepreneurship, and social impact, inspiring me to seek out business experiences throughout high school. Recognizing the difference I could make, I founded Financial Pathways Carolina, a nonprofit dedicated to providing free financial literacy education to young students. My mission is to inspire action and ensure every student has the knowledge and confidence to make well-informed financial decisions.
