My name is Marcus Brown, and it’s my privilege to introduce myself as your guide on the path to Financial Fitness. As a Certified Financial Education Instructor℠, I’ve dedicated over two decades of my life to the pursuit of financial empowerment, with a special focus on uplifting the Black community through education and practical financial wisdom.
My mission is clear: to lead one million Black men towards the pinnacle of Financial Fitness, equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to navigate their financial journeys successfully. Financial Fitness, to me, is more than just managing money—it’s about building a legacy of wealth, wisdom, and well-being that can be passed down through generations.
Inspired by the teachings of financial giants like Dave Ramsey, Dr. Claud Anderson, and Robert Kiyosaki, my approach combines foundational principles with actionable strategies tailored to meet the unique needs and aspirations of those I serve.

Marcus Brown, MBA, is the founder of Brown Consulting & Finance, a beacon of hope and empowerment for Black men seeking Financial Fitness. As an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ (CFEI®), Marcus has dedicated over two decades to the financial education sector, with a laser-focused mission on enriching the lives of Black men through financial literacy. His work is not just a profession; it’s a profound commitment to changing lives and fostering generational wealth within the Black community.
Under the banner of Brown Consulting & Finance, Marcus has charted a course to educate, advocate, and inspire one million Black men, guiding them towards financial independence and literacy. His methodology is inspired by the teachings of financial luminaries, including the revered Dr. Claud Anderson, whose work in economics and empowerment has significantly influenced Marcus’s approach. By integrating Dr. Anderson’s principles with his own expertise, Marcus offers a unique and powerful perspective on achieving Financial Fitness.
