Lawrence Jackson, Jr.
Financial Service Provider & Financial Literacy Advocate

Personal Notes
I’ve sat with families who did everything right — worked hard, built businesses, bought property, raised children who went on to do great things. And I’ve watched those same families lose everything in probate court because no one had a plan. Not because they didn’t love each other. Because no one taught them what to do with what they built.
That’s the gap I work in. I’m a pastor, a doctoral candidate in Educational Technology, and a Certified Financial Education Instructor — and I built Legacy Fortress™ specifically for families who are building real things and need a real system to protect them. Not a seminar. Not a workbook. A structured, six-month implementation program that produces executed trust documents, funded accounts, and a governance plan the next generation can actually follow.
If you’re ready to stop hoping your family figures it out and start building something that survives you — I’m the instructor for that conversation.
Bio
Lawrence Jackson Jr., M.Ed., Ed.D.(ABD), CFEI® is a Family Legacy Strategist, an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ (CFEI®), and founder of Legacy Fortress™ — a comprehensive 7-session trust architecture program that guides families through building, protecting, and transferring generational wealth. Drawing on 25+ years of experience in business formation and corporate compliance, Lawrence developed the Legacy Fortress™ framework to address what he observed repeatedly in his community: families building real assets with no structure in place to protect them.
As Executive Director of The Mission NOLA, Inc., a New Orleans-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Lawrence leads Legacy Builders — a community financial literacy initiative bringing the Legacy Fortress™ framework to underserved families across the region. As Senior Pastor of Free Mission Baptist Church in New Orleans, he integrates faith-based stewardship principles with sound financial education, speaking to both the spiritual and practical dimensions of legacy.
A doctoral candidate in Educational Technology and holder of a Master of Education degree, Lawrence combines instructional design expertise with deep practitioner knowledge — delivering financial education that is not only accurate, but genuinely transformational. His work is grounded in one conviction: ‘The Plan is Paper. The Legacy is Life.’™
