For a long time, money wasn’t something I was taught, it was something I learned through experience. Like many people in underserved communities, financial understanding often comes after stress, mistakes, or wishing someone had explained the basics sooner. I’ve seen how financial uncertainty can quietly shape decisions and create ongoing pressure for individuals and families. Those experiences led me to create Financially Dope and the D.O.P.E Wealth Blueprint, a framework built on clarity, education, and practicality. I believe financial confidence starts with understanding what’s happening with your money, why it matters, and how to take realistic steps that fit your life. My work is rooted in judgment-free financial education. Whether I’m working with individuals, organizations, or community leaders, my goal is to help people slow down, gain clarity, reduce stress, and build financial skills that support long-term stability…the D.O.P.E way!

Bio

Kashay Cole, CFEI, is an entrepreneur, financial educator, and the founder of Financially Dope, a financial literacy firm built to help people make sense of their money and move forward with confidence. With an extensive background in accounting, banking, home lending, and financial education, she brings both technical expertise and lived experience to her work, understanding firsthand how money stress can shape decisions and impact everyday life.

Rather than teaching from a place of perfection, Kashay’s work centers on clarity, realism, and context. As a Black woman and a mother, she understands that money doesn’t exist in a vacuum and that life seasons, responsibilities, and access all matter. That perspective shapes how she teaches: meeting people where they are, slowing the process down, and prioritizing understanding before action.

Kashay created the DOPE framework to help individuals define their financial reality, own their goals and values, practice sustainable money habits, and build confidence in their financial decisions. As an educator, she is known for breaking down complex financial concepts in a way that feels approachable, judgment-free, and actionable. Ultimately helping people reduce financial stress and build long-term financial resilience through education, not pressure.

Kashay’s mission is not to manage people’s money for them, but to help them understand it. Through clarity-first education and practical frameworks, she empowers individuals to make confident financial decisions that support long-term stability and peace of mind…the DOPE way!
