Elia Mendoza
Financial Literacy Advocate

Personal Notes
Welcome, and thank you for being here. My work as an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ is deeply personal because I understand what it feels like to navigate financial systems without clear guidance or access to information. Many families and individuals are doing their best every day, yet financial education is not always taught in ways that are practical, culturally relevant, or easy to understand. My goal is to change that.
I believe financial education should be empowering, not intimidating. Whether you are learning how to budget, build credit, start a business, or plan for long-term stability, you deserve information that meets you where you are and respects your lived experiences. I focus on breaking down complex financial topics into simple, actionable steps that you can apply in your daily life.
Through my workshops and community work, I strive to create a safe and welcoming space where questions are encouraged and learning feels accessible to everyone. Financial knowledge is more than numbers — it is about confidence, opportunity, and creating a stronger future for yourself and your family. I am honored to be part of your learning journey and look forward to growing together.
