Have you ever said to yourself, “I wish someone would have talked to me about personal finances when I was younger?” I never really learned the basics of personal financial planning; however, I found out that life will be the teacher as time goes on. It became my hope that financial disasters I have personally witnessed or experienced not be repeated. Personally, I understand what it means for financial challenges to create a lifestyle of stress. I decided to provide a clear path to building personal finance knowledge and skills for youth and young adults. The most effective and enduring movements are built on strong foundations. I have successfully created a youth financial education program that has been teaching an introduction to money management and financial literacy. I want to assure that our future generations are not lacking the skills necessary to maintain a stress-free life due to lack of resources.

Gr8r Mindz, Inc. NFP is being led by Dr. Oliver V. Brooks, a successful financial professional, recognized mentor to young men, and an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor. He is an expert of financial literacy for High School students and young adults. Dr. Brooks is a committed community partner that works hard to effect change for our future. He has put together a program that allows people you care about to start building their financial road map now. He has decided to take a bold step and created a promising opportunity to reach our youth at pivotal points in their development and financial lives. His aim is teaching everyone to be the hero of their own story and thrive for success. Dr. Brooks’ life experiences, education, failures and successes has endured his passion as a mentor with a focus on financial literacy. As the financial empowerment mentor, his passion has provided him the opportunity to build relationships, break down barriers and move people to take the action needed to live in their purpose. Dr. Brooks is fully equipped to educate and guide students and young adults on the path to financial success. When it comes to financial mentoring, everyone will enjoy working with Dr. Brooks. He is someone who understands people, makes connections, and develops effective communication while also making it a fun and engaging mentorship, with his energetic personality and winning attitude. It is Dr. Brooks’ personal pleasure and goal to teach others how to be in control of their destiny and become financially savvy. Our future depends on being equipped to build financial confidence, increase financial IQ, practical financial skills, explore financial systems, and banking.
