Dorenda Monique Clink, CFEI, MBA is a passionate financial educator, income protection strategist, and money mindset coach dedicated to empowering individuals and families through financial literacy. As the founder of Vested Interest Financial Group, LLC, Dorenda specializes in helping underserved communities build financial confidence, make informed decisions, and break generational cycles of poverty. With a background in finance, accounting, business, and project management, she holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Master’s in Financial and Accounting Management, along with the Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ (CFEI) designation from the National Financial Educators Council. Dorenda began her career as a Cook County Deputy Sheriff before transitioning into various accounting roles. Over time, she realized that her true passion was working directly with people, leading her to focus on financial education and advocacy. Today, she dedicates her efforts to teaching financial literacy at Olive-Harvey College in Chicago, IL, as well as supporting domestic violence survivors, young adult men, and the greater Chicagoland community. Through her work, Dorenda strives to equip individuals with the tools and knowledge needed to achieve financial stability and long-term success. She believes that financial literacy is the foundation for economic empowerment and is committed to making a lasting impact in the lives of those she serves.
