Donna Duckworth
Financial Services Professional & Financial Literacy Advocate

Personal Notes
As a Financial Services professional, it is a great pleasure to assist individuals with their accounts, credit cards, loans and investment products. However, while serving them I discovered that a lack of financial education is an issue many people face and can lead to devastating circumstances. I have been taught to ask myself at the end of each business day, “Whose life did you change today?” It is my mission to change the lives of others through financial literacy.

Donna A. Duckworth is an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor℠.
While working in higher education Donna developed the ability to explain to students how to successfully manage their student accounts and loans. Years later Ms. Duckworth entered the banking industry, accepting a job as a banker in the neighborhood where she grew up. While assisting her customers, particularly women, she developed a passion for educating them about the various aspects of personal finance —- budgeting, saving, investing, establishing credit, and borrowing money wisely. In addition to the CFEI designation, she has attained her Personal Bankers certificate from ABA. She has taken the America Saves pledge and shared her personal story. As a new employee at her company, Ms. Duckworth was recognized by her employer for helping her customers to increase their savings via its newly implemented round up program. It is her aim to continue to educate individuals so their financial lives are enhanced.
