Derek Cossettini
Financial Literacy Advocate

Personal Notes
As a young adult, I understand firsthand the financial traps and pitfalls that people our age often encounter. In the journey to becoming confident, self-reliant adults, it’s easy to make short-sighted financial decisions that can have long-lasting consequences—leaving us in debt, stressed, and unsure of how to move forward. But it’s this very challenge that fuels my passion.
As a Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ (CFEI), I’m dedicated to empowering my peers to take control of their financial futures. Through ongoing learning in an engaging and relatable way, I aim to help us all set a course toward financial freedom, leading to happier, healthier lives.
