My journey into the realm of personal finance did not commence in a single morning. It began many years ago when I undertook personal research on the subject and ultimately recognized that financial knowledge is an essential life skill for all people. My persistent efforts motivated me to establish an organization focused on financial education. In 2024, I founded Non-profit financial education organization, its named Financial Education Empowerment Charity Organization (FEECO). The organization is dedicated to Empower Financial Knowledge to most vulnerable communities in Ethiopia, with programs aimed at women, youth, MSMEs, and employees. I believe that optimal performance is a result of quality decisions and such decisions cannot be made without sufficient knowledge. Therefore, to reap the benefits of financial literacy, we must equip our community with quality financial education. That why I founded FEECO.
Bio
Demissie Dubale is the founder of a non-profit organization committed to empowering individuals through financial knowledge. Previously, he worked in different local government organizations to an international non-profit organization. He has volunteered as a trainer, offering personal financial management training for over 10 years at a local non-profit organization, while still continuing to equip his community through financial knowledge.
Academically, he possesses MSc in Development Economics and MA in Public Financial Management. He is confident that his educational background, many years of personal finance training experience, and previous work experience has significantly bolstered his expertise in personal finance. In addition, he is an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ (CFEI). He is dedicated to teaching personal finance.
