Bio
David J. LeBlanc has a diverse background that includes seven years of service as a police officer with the New York City Police Department. Following his law enforcement career, David transitioned successfully to the private sector, leveraging the insights and skills acquired during his tenure. David has demonstrated expertise in various fields, including project management, real estate, and business development. His versatile skill set encompasses political science, business planning, strategy development, economics, accounting, project management, student development, and public speaking.
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, David enjoys writing. His published book, “Sustaining The Great Experiment: An Exposition For Building Safer American Communities,” showcases his passion for meaningful dialogue and his dedication to addressing societal challenges. All profits from the book are donated to charities supporting the families of fallen law enforcement officers.
David currently serves as the Treasurer on the Alumni Board of Directors for Saint Leo University. Through his work on the board, David helps shape the future of the university and its students, ensuring that the institution continues to thrive and provide valuable resources to its community.
David earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Leo University in Political Science and Criminal Justice with a specialization in Homeland Security. He also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Governors University. David firmly believes that learning never ends and stays up-to-date on the latest marketing, business, political, and educational strategies.
Recently, David achieved certification as a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI). He is excited to help people improve their personal finances through comprehensive teaching and ongoing support. This new role allows David to draw upon his extensive expertise in various fields and his commitment to community well-being.
