There was a point in my life when I realized that earning money and building wealth are two completely different conversations, and that distinction changed how I approached my finances.
I had been in environments where money was being made and opportunities were present, yet there was little focus on structure, strategy, or long term impact. That shift in perspective changed how I approached my own finances. Through my background in business, real estate, and financial education, I began to understand how capital moves and how easily income can lack direction without clarity and intention.
That realization is what led me to this work.
I do not believe wealth is built by chance. It is built through decisions, how we think about money, how we position ourselves, and how we use what we have over time. Today, I help individuals and organizations develop that same level of clarity so they can move with intention, structure their finances, and build something that lasts.

Courtney S. Jenkins is a Wealth Strategist, Author, Investor, Podcast Host, and Founder of Legacy Under Oak. She holds credentials as an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor℠ (CFEI®), Certified Business Consultant (CBC™), and Certified Career Coach & Navigator (CCN®), and her work sits at the intersection of financial education, business strategy, and career positioning.
Courtney’s work is deeply personal. She is committed to breaking financial cycles within her family and community, cycles shaped by a lack of access to financial knowledge and strategic guidance. Without being taught how money truly works, she learned through experience, observation, and financial decisions that required her to adapt, rebuild, and think differently.
Her background in business management and real estate, where she managed residential and commercial portfolios and oversaw multimillion-dollar operations, gave her firsthand insight into how wealth is built, structured, and sustained.
Today, Courtney helps individuals strategically deploy capital across investing, business growth, and income development. Through her speaking, coaching, and platform, she delivers the clarity and structure needed to support intentional wealth building and long-term impact.
