Brooke Wells
Financial Services Professional & Financial Literacy Advocate

Personal Notes
My passion is to take the mystery out of money. Creating a personal budget, learning about credit scores and debt management, and investing in the future are just some of the topics that some believe are too complicated to master. I will agree that it takes work to build a healthy relationship with money, but it feels a lot easier when you have someone there to help. I am ready to be that someone for YOU.
Bio
Brooke Wells, Learning and Development Specialist, has been with Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union since 2016. Brooke began as a branch teller and was able to help members in financial distress find solutions to their money problems. This valuable insight into the issues people in her community were facing sparked her affinity toward teaching personal finance. After her time as a teller, Brooke moved up in the company to the Learning and Development department where she developed and conducted hands-on trainings with employees of the Credit Union for five years. When she wasn’t conducting internal trainings, Brooke was out in the community spreading the message of financial literacy to anyone who would listen. Through various partnerships with local schools and other non-profit organizations, Brooke has been able to reach many students and adults alike who otherwise would not receive a financial education. Brooke is also the Grant Coordinator for Knoxville TVA Employees Credit Union’s Simply Smart Foundation for Education, a grant available to high school educators in the Credit Union’s service areas. Today, as an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor℠, Brooke has refined her skills with five years of content development, training, and teaching experience. With access to quality financial education resources through the National Financial Educators Council, Brooke is equipped to provide research-based education on many important personal finance topics to students and adults. Brooke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication from King University.
