Are you looking for practical ways for financial education to be part of the healthy habits that you and your family develop? That is my specialty as an educator–focusing on career/professional development, two-generation learning, and holistic financial wellness. I work with families, especially with elementary-aged children, to set and meet financial goals, and to get children involved in financial education early. As a small business owner, a nonprofit leader, and a faculty member in higher education, I see the benefits that continuous learning and its application has, particularly related to financial education. Let’s work together to impact generations!

Bio

Dr. Alexandra Arrington is an an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor.

Dr. Arrington is a Charlotte community member, entrepreneur, and nonprofit leader serving as the Executive Director of Money Magnets Club. She has experienced entrepreneurship from a young age as a vehicle to support her plans and aspirations, both in terms of incorporating her interests and meeting her financial goals. Her experiences fuel the passion and programs that constitute Money Magnets Club, which teaches entrepreneurship and financial literacy principles to elementary schoolers. The aims of the organization’s efforts are to create more equitable opportunity for kids and families in Charlotte, NC to thrive, particularly those being reared on the West side. Dr. Arrington’s training in communications, counseling and organizational leadership brings a unique vantage point to holistic financial wellness, which she advocates in her work with educating individual and organizational clients.
