His program “Second Chance Money Skills,” part of LearnTheMoney, was named the global winner of the “Closing the Gender Gap” category at the 2026 Money Awareness and Inclusion Awards (MAIAs) – a prestigious, globally recognized awards program that draws entries from more than 40 countries and is judged by an international panel of leading financial literacy experts. This recognition reflects both the quality of the curriculum and its real-world impact on women navigating reentry and rebuilding their financial lives. Across Texas, Ibrahimov designs and delivers financial literacy programs that meet learners where they are, including community bootcamps, campus workshops, and classes inside the Nueces County Jail. His instruction emphasizes practical skills like budgeting, debt management, credit, saving, and planning for life after release so that participants leave with tools they can begin using immediately to stabilize and improve their financial lives. Through these efforts, he works to build sustainable financial literacy infrastructure that communities can rely on, long after a single class or workshop ends.
