Personal Notes

From an early age, I was curious about how money works and had a heart for those struggling with their finances. It disturbed me to see the adults in my life work long, hard hours in very demanding jobs, only to have concerns about money create stress and worry that negatively impacted their relationships, health, and enjoyment of life in general. I gradually came to realize that we lived in a different world financially than those “on the other side of the tracks”. Our world was one where we were marketed high-interest loans, rent-to-own furniture, and car purchases based on ”how much a month”, instead of “how much”. After a 30+ year career in Engineering, Finance, and Program Management, I’m on a mission to leverage the skills that I’ve acquired through my work in the corporate world, academic study, and management of my family’s finances throughout a 30+ year marriage to help others achieve financial wellness by providing coaching and education services.
