Tom Graneau, Personal Finance Speaker

Personal Notes

Hi, there: Thanks for stopping by. My name is Tom Graneau, a veteran, author, and financial management specialist. I’m excited to be in a position of service to you or your group. Like most people, my financial background is far from being flawless. I’ve had my share of excessive debt, little or no savings, home foreclosure, and bankruptcy. But despite our unfortunate past (bad judgments, mistakes, failures, etc.) and present circumstances, we can become successful. This is especially true regarding money or personal finance.

Bio

As one who has struggled with money issues, Tom Graneau is driven to excel financially and wants to help others do the same. He believes learning about hindrances to financial success and overcoming them is how to get ahead economically.

The need for financial education is broad, spanning all ages, demographics, and socioeconomic levels. However, Tom’s ideal audience is between the ages of 25 – 55 years old. These individuals have experienced some of life’s financial realities and, with the right education, guidance, and motivation, they are more apt to adjust their thinking and behavior for economic progress.

Dedicated to making a difference in people’s lives, Tom wants to inspire working adults to overcome the financial barriers that deprive them of economic freedom. Typically, most people work hard, make a lot of money, live paycheck-to-paycheck, and retire with pennies. Much of that is attributed to a lack of good financial education and guidance. As one who learned about these issues late in life, he is passionately driven to alter the course of these events in people’s lives.

As a financial specialist, Tom has been providing financial services since 1989. Much of that time has been spent conducting individual counseling, workshops, and training for active military members, veterans, and the general public. Tom is an author of four books, three of which deal with personal finance. He is an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor and holds a master’s degree in business. As an ordained minister, he is also well-versed in family counseling, parental success, and crisis management.
