Greetings! My Name is Nicole A Simpson, but I go by The Urban Cash Coach. My passion is service and education. I believe financial capability is achievable at every income level with proper planning and guidance. I have over a decade of experience in the financial service industry in low to moderate-income urban areas. If you need a financial educator who will connect and resonate with your group and not use any complicated concepts or jargon, I am your speaker. I have had great success with corporations, churches, community groups, colleges, and numerous non-profits.

Bio

Nicole A Simpson is a Columbus, Ohio native who is passionate about helping people achieve financial capability. She launched her career in financial services 12 years ago as a financial advisor. Nicole accepted various roles in the financial services industry while carving out her niche. She held the title of an insurance agent, banking center vice president, and lending specialist before launching, Go Fund Your Life and Urban Cash Coach.

In the most recent years, Nicole has studied to become a certified financial educator and developed her curriculum called Urban Cash Coaching Academy, a nine-week financial capability course designed for urban communities. In addition to the academy, Nicole provides financial literacy training to The Ohio State University, student-athletes and the Small business development corporation, and the SBA. In 2020 she became an author of an Amazon Best Selling Book, What to Do When You Get Declined for Life Insurance, and a children’s book titled Gregory Learns to Save.

In 2021, Nicole will be the subject matter expert for 10,000 City of Columbus Employees for the financial wellness campaign.

Nicole believes financial literacy is all about meeting people where they are. She hosted the inaugural financial literacy comedy show, My Money’s A Little Funny, intending to use edutainment as a part of financial literacy.

Nicole is a frequently featured guest on podcasts, broadcasts, and radio shows as an economic subject matter expert. Recently she launched her online broadcast, entitled #HeyAuntie, to address the financial concerns of aging women.

When Nicole is not promoting financial capability, she enjoys spending time with her teen son and adorable cockapoo OJ Simpson. Nicole is currently a candidate for the Chartered Advisor of Philanthropy, CAP, a designation with the American College. Nicole is a member of New Birth Christian Ministries. She also serves on the trustees’ board for Africentric Personal Development Shop and James Walter Mitchell Development Council.
