Bio

Nakiea Cook, MBA, CFEI is an award-winning accountant, financial educator, and business strategist with over 15 years of experience in nonprofit finance, government auditing, and small business consulting. She is the founder and CEO of NC Accounting & Consulting Solutions, where she leads organizations toward financial clarity through Fractional CFO/COO services, strategic planning, and financial literacy programs.

As an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI), Nakiea is passionate about making financial knowledge accessible, relatable, and empowering—particularly for underserved communities and entrepreneurs. She is also the founder of The Everythingkiea Project, a nonprofit dedicated to helping youth and families build generational wealth through financial literacy and leadership development.

Known for her engaging teaching style and practical approach to money management, Nakiea has spoken for Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women, the IRS Annual Filing Season Program, and several regional business development centers. She has been featured by Nasdaq, Business Insider, and the Buffalo Business Journal, and she was named the 2024 SBA Financial Champion of the Year.

Nakiea is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Accounting and serves as an adjunct professor, mentor, and community leader. Her mission is simple: to break financial barriers and create opportunities—one conversation, one client, one classroom at a time.
