Personal Notes

My career in the nonprofit industry spans nearly 20 years, which has been focused on community economic development, community outreach and advocacy. After founding the Youth Education for Savings (YES) Consortium, I’ve enjoyed orchestrating opportunities to educate, encourage and inspire youth to incorporate healthy financial management habits in their lives by collaborating with schools and like-minded organizations across the state. As the workshop facilitator for The Center for Financial Education at Wake Tech Community College, I’ve had the privilege and honor meet with incredible people from diverse backgrounds affording me opportunities to share stories of live, community and strength.
