Growing up in different countries and moving often to various cultures and languages was challenging and rewarding. I have learned to truly appreciate the value of money in different worlds under extreme circumstances. It has also taught me to be adaptable and share with others all the ups and downs I have experienced. On my way I have seen many multi-generational family whose kids are struggling to understand real life beside the Expat bubble life. This knowledge and experience is that one I want to share with the kids, especially third-culture kids in a fun, practical and real way – everyone can have a positive money relationship. Bio

Hermine Markosyan-Poeppelreiter is a financial-accountant by background, graduating from Moscow Business and law University and is an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI). She is the CEO and co-founder of Finance Kids, division of i-Rock GmbH (founded and registered in Germany). Hermine has more than 17 years of experience in accounting, including working as a Chief Financial Officer in Governmental institution. Hermine was a lecturer in The Russian Armenian University on subjects such as financial management and business engineering. From 2015-2019, she was a teacher’s assistant for business management courses and a sub-teacher for math and English as a Foreigner Language in The International School of Kuala Lumpur-ISKL.
