Bio

Deneka is a first generation Haitian American native of New Orleans, LA. She is a graduate of Tulane University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations and a minor concentration in Accounting and Finance. She began her real estate career, utilizing marketing and accounting skills to build a solid client base and secure residential purchases. After witnessing the lack of affordable housing in New Orleans, she dedicated her career to enhancing the quality of life in New Orleans by focusing on community development and housing through inclusion. She joined Tulane Canal Neighborhood Development Corporation in August 2019 as the Client Services Coordinator and she utilizes her passion to connect homebuyers with affordable housing by insuring that our clients achieve their goals of homeownership, financial stability, and housing security. Once onboard she created the Financial Fitness program where she partners with local financial institutions to host workshops that prepares clients for homeownership. Deneka Desroches is an exceptional financial literacy instructor who has dedicated her career to helping clients achieve their financial goals. Her primary goal is to educate and empower individuals to take control of their finances. Through her workshops, she provides clients with the tools and knowledge they need to make informed financial decisions. Her Money Mindset financial literacy workshop, in partnership with the New Orleans public library, has been instrumental in helping the New Orleans community improve their financial management skills and achieve financial stability. As a seasoned real estate professional, Deneka understands that buying a home is more than just a transaction: it’s a life-changing experience. That’s why she is dedicated to providing exceptional, personalized service for all of her clients. Deneka takes great pride in the relationships she builds and always work relentlessly on the client’s behalf to help them achieve their goals. Her philosophy is simple: Clients come first.
