As a financial services industry professional, I have witnessed the impact of unequal financial education in underserved communities. This issue is often dismissed as a personal responsibility, disregarding the lack of essential knowledge and resources needed to make informed financial decisions. Consequently, a cycle of inequality emerges, leaving those without financial literacy vulnerable to financial insecurity, wealth gaps, and limited choices. Establishing standards for education means incorporating personal financial education for all. This is why I am on a mission to create financially healthy individuals, who in turn create financially healthy families who build financially healthy businesses in thriving communities.

Caroline Dennis is a entrepreneur, coach, public speaker, author, and an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor. As the Founder and Executive Director of NuJourney Foundation, she has dedicated her career to promoting financial literacy and entrepreneurship in underserved communities. NuJourney Foundation, created under Caroline’s leadership, is built on the pillars of passion, purpose, and empowerment. Its mission is to equip every individual with the financial knowledge necessary to create opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities. Caroline’s extensive expertise in finance has been instrumental in developing comprehensive financial literacy and entrepreneurship programs catered to both youth and adults. Currently, NuJourney Foundation has fostered a fruitful partnership with the local Boys and Girls Club, actively teaching and instilling crucial financial principles. Caroline’s educational background is rooted in excellence. She holds an undergraduate degree in Corporate Finance and a graduate degree in Project Management. She has further honed her skills as a graduate of the Yale School of Management Executive Leadership Program, solidifying her commitment to learning. Recognizing the importance of continuing training, Caroline is a Certified Financial Education Instructor through the National Financial Educators Council (NFEC). She is also a Master Financial Coach and a Certified Practitioner of the Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile through the esteemed Leadership Development Institute. Caroline’s passion for empowering individuals to shape their own definition of success is steadfast. Her dedication extends beyond NuJourney Foundation, as she currently serves as a Program Advisor for the MUMA School of Business at the University of South Florida. She is the President/CEO of Chayil Financial Group and Chayil Consulting which house her exclusive brand Coaching with Caroline and Caroline’s Coaching Academy. Caroline Dennis is a leader with purpose. Through NuJourney Foundation and her Chayil Brands, her ultimate goal is to assist individuals in reframing success on their own terms and achieving financial health. With her unwavering commitment to education and empowerment, Caroline’s work continues to positively impact communities.
