Hi there! My name is Arianne McSellers and I have a passion for teaching wealth building strategies to business professionals by using Biblical principles and practical personal finance tools.
As a former Human Resources professional and with my own personal finance experiences, it is my mission to help working individuals and families manage their finances with intentionality, systems, tools and behaviors so that they can create profitable and purposeful careers.
I truly believe that as hard as you work for your money, your money should work even harder for you, and I’m ready to show you how!
Bio
Arianne McSellers has a passion to educate and empower business professionals to build a life of peace, purpose, and prosperity by using Biblical wisdom and practical personal finance strategies.
Like most, she was conditioned to go to college, get a degree, and obtain a “good job” so that she could live the proverbial American dream. While that sounded good in theory, her first few years out of college were a financial nightmare…
She struggled with debt, debt collectors, overdraft fees, and trying to keep up with the Joneses, all while making less than $25k a year. One day, she finally got sick and tired of living in financial chaos and anxiety and started her journey to financial freedom. She wanted to experience the abundant life that she had been reading and hearing about in her local church.
She took a leap of faith and invested in personal finance courses, applied Biblical principles, and developed a clear vision that helped her build a multiple six-figure net worth while working a full-time job earning less than six-figures, pay off all of her non-mortgage debt, give generously, travel internationally, and pursue her dream of becoming an entrepreneur.
After spending 19 years in the corporate sector, she ended her career as a Human Resources professional and began her next chapter as a certified financial coach, fulfilling her passion for teaching personal finance education, freedom, strategic planning, and empowerment.
Experience
Known as the Abundant Life Strategist, over the last 15 years, Arianne has been involved in presenting financial education programming and one-on-one coaching.
She has given presentations on personal finance and wealth building strategies to churches, small groups, women’s conferences, and colleges in her local community of Richmond VA, as well as online.
She has helped well over 200 women and families to learn basic budgeting skills, to pay off debt early, to save, invest, and to give generously. The very principles that she lives by on a daily basis.
Credentials
Arianne McSellers is an NFEC Certified Personal Financial Wellness Consultant (CPFWC) and Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI), and Certified Life Coach. She obtained a BA in Psychology from Elon University, and an MBA in Human Resource Management from Northcentral University. She worked in the Human Resources industry for 14 years and has been teaching financial literacy since 2008.
