Amma is the President of Executive Decision, a DBE and SWAM certified Consulting firm in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor. Founded in 2003, Executive Decision specializes in management consulting, strategic development, financial management consulting, change management, targeted marketing research, process improvement and service quality enhancement. Amma has also has an extensive banking background that ranges from Management, Treasury, Private Banking, Relationship Management, Lending, and Risk. Her degree is in communications and marketing from Old Dominion University and she continues to stay involved as an alumnus. Amma was a graduate of the Virginia Bankers School of Bank Management at UVA. Amma also has a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion in the Workplace, Change Management, and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification. As a licensed real estate agent in the state of Virginia, she is also a CREN and is a certified home staging expert. She is dedicated to using her financial and real estate background to help make homeownership and generational wealth accessible to everyone. Amma is active in the community where she lives with her family. Currently, she is a Board Member of TCPSE, an advisory Board Member for the Virginia Housing CDC, a member of the National Association of Real Estate Brokers, and a Board Member of the Rushmere CDC. Additionally, she served on the Federal Reserve Secure Payments Task Force as well as numerous other professional and civic organizations. Amma was a 2011 recipient of Inside Business’ Women In Business Award and was also awarded the Human Rights Award by the Virginia Beach Human Rights Commission in February 2007. Later in 2007, she was named one of Inside Business’ Top 40 under 40. She received the Urban League of Hampton Roads’ Award of Excellence in 2006. Most recently, Amma was awarded the Hampton Roads Gazeti Exemplar Award in 2019. This award was given in recognition of her outstanding commitment to the community.
