Alicia Stingley

Personal Notes

Having worked in various aspects of finance for over 15 years, it pained me to see so many people, particularly women, that were not financially secure. Often women lack confidence, depend on their significant other, or avoid dealing with their finances altogether. My mission is to reach 1,000 Generation X women per year and empower them to make confident financial decisions to transform their lives, their families lives and impact generations to come.

Bio

“Alicia Stingley is a full-time Retirement Plan Advisor for the 2nd largest retirement services provider in the country. She is also the Founder and Owner of Financial Formation, LLC, which offers coaching, speaking, and education services to women, workplaces, and communities around the country. The company takes a holistic approach to financial education and believes that changing financial habits starts in the mind.

Alicia has a particular passion for successful, Generation X women who make good money but don’t make good money decisions. As a Gen Xer herself, Alicia understands the financial struggles facing this demographic. She understands because not only has she advised thousands of women, but she herself has been through almost every financial situation imaginable. Alicia has a strong desire to share with women the tools and techniques that she has personally used to create financial security for herself. This makes her uniquely qualified to help women in similar conditions.

Alicia has traveled the country providing financial wellness presentations at various types of institutions such as hospitals, law offices, insurances agencies and professional sports teams. Speaking engagements have taken her from medical colleges to universities and non-profit agencies. With her high energy and inspirational teaching style, Alicia has been described as motivated and engaged. She infuses her presentations with humorous anecdotes and real-life examples to bring about change.

A graduate of Marquette University with a BA in Psychology and Minor in Spanish; and Keller Graduate School with Masters’ Degrees in Business Administration and Human Resource Management, Alicia’s career has spanned 25+ years as a pharmaceutical sales rep, stay-at-home mom, personal banker, mortgage loan closer, compensation analyst, adjunct economics instructor, and financial advisor. She is a Licensed Investment Advisor Representative and an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor.

When not speaking or coaching, Alicia loves to travel the world on adventures; dance no matter who’s watching; attend live sporting or music events; and spend time with close friends and family (3 grown children, daughter-in-love, and 2 grandsons).”
