Everyday, I wake up to empower, educate, inform, expose and motivate and move people around the country towards their financial quality of life! It’s what I do; It’s my purpose. Too many are stressed, depressed and in a financial mess today; but it doesn’t have to be that way. Knowledge is the new Currency! What you know will make you money and financially sound, but what you don’t know will take money from you! So, you have to first become knowledge rich in order to become financially rich! Together, we can reach your financial destination, if only you follow the path to Destination Financial Wellness. Your biggest foe, discipline, will be left in its tracks. Bio

Sidney T. Curry serves as Chief Executive Officer of BC Holdings, LLC and an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor. Prior to joining BC Holdings, Sidney spent over two decades in the financial services industry. During his journey, he was recognized for his many achievements in the areas of personal financial advisory, product development, strategic planning, marketing, distribution management, client satisfaction and sales. He served as an accomplished, certified, investment advisor for over two decades. Sidney is an authority in the personal financial arena and is a personal financial educator.

During his career in the financial industry, Sidney gained vast experience as a Senior Marketing Analyst and Product Developer. In this role, he was the project leader for the development of products for retail and commercial clients while in the Marketing Department. This experience expanded as he moved to Senior Lending Officer. During this tenure, Sidney developed bill paying services, personal investment services, and developed a financial education seminar series for the NFL. This entailed conducting and orchestrating the R&D with industry specific research firms and developing products and services that could be implemented in a longstanding infrastructure – the new products were out-of-the-box. Additionally, Sidney was responsible for developing a winning marketing plan for both new and existing products which is important when a finished product is ready for commercialization. All projects and new products were immensely successful under his leadership.

While in the investment industry, Sidney was one of the top advisors in the state. He held several certifications to include the Series 7 (security license), the Series 6 (certification to sell annuities, mutual funds, etc.) and the Life and Health Insurance license. So, he is well versed in these areas of financial wellness and security. He used his knowledge and strong project management skills to develop financial educational seminars for the Tennessee Titans which lead to the NFL. Sidney was able to make the complicated world of investing very simple for many players who had very limited exposure.

Sidney is co-author of the award winning Financial Wellness Toolkit (comprehensive financial planning program that is over 292 pages), Exit Strategy (collegiate financial and post-graduate wellness planner), Student Financial Wellness Course (high school financial wellness program), Wealth Starter (financial software products), FinTips (monthly personal financial newsletter), and financial wellness blogger. This shows his ability to relate to all different demographics and learning styles.

Over the span of his career, Sidney has founded several community organizations and serves as an active board member and volunteer in the community. Giving back is important and a major part of his life. He uses his talents to enhance the lives of others at every turn. These core values are important and makes him very relatable when teaching a subject like finances which reaches everyone no matter their circumstances.

A native of Nashville, Sidney received a B.S. from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and earned an Executive MBA (EMBA) from the Vanderbilt Owen School of Management. Sidney currently lives in Hendersonville, TN with his wife of 22 years, Saundra. They have two children, Vilia, an actress/writer/producer in Los Angeles, and Miles, a student at Columbia University in New York City. They attend Temple Church in Nashville, TN.
