Build Your Legacy and Make a Meaningful Difference in Your Neighbors’ Financial Lives

One of the top issues facing your community and the whole country is people’s personal finance situations. Most people in this country lack the knowledge and experience they need to make financial decisions with confidence. This situation causes problems that affect all areas of their lives – from relationships, to personal esteem, to the ability to live the lives they desire.

With national and personal debt near all-time highs, we as a country are at a critical point. We need local leadership focused on financial wellness programming to make a measurable difference.

Because You are Here Now – We Likely Share Similar Concerns, Beliefs, and Mission

Concerns: Financial problems are a major issue: half the country can’t come up with $1,000 for an emergency, 20% are on welfare, 74% say money is their biggest cause of stress, and 84% of the country is short on retirement savings. This situation affects the country as a whole, but also your community – people you know and possibly even you.

Beliefs: If I can help people in our community build scalable financial wellness programming that helps mold positive behaviors, develop systems, and create plans – people will be in a better position to work toward their financial goals and personal dreams.

Mission: Strengthen my community through economic empowerment.

How Your Involvement can Support Your Community in a Meaningful Way

There are best practices for building and scaling financial wellness programming. These same methods also help our financial service partners build their businesses as they make a lasting impact on their communities.

To support our shared efforts, the Financial Educators Council leads and manages a cohesive financial wellness campaign that includes a focus across these areas:

  • Impact. Donating proven financial education methods from an IACET Accredited education company and independent course materials helps people improve their finances.
  • Awareness. Building and actively implementing a managed and cohesive marketing strategy to get people involved through online presence, promotions, public relations, and advertising.
  • Relationships. NFEC’s US-based and highly-trained team members build, strengthen, and deepen connections with community members who benefit from the campaign and all the stakeholders involved.
  • Engagement. Promote campaigns that encourage opportunities to connect with others in your community and empower them with the resources your neighbors need.
  • Nurturing. Communicate with people who engage with the campaign and provide a variety of resources that empower them with financial knowledge and understanding of how your organization made this possible.

Help Us Bring a Comprehensive Financial Wellness Initiative to Your Community

The NFEC partners with financial services companies to bring communities the resources and support they need to offer high-quality financial wellness programming. We built this campaign not only to provide social impact benefits; but also to offer a comprehensive benefit package to help you expand your business.

For over 15 years we have been serving the financial services industry – this service includes programs for 3 of the top 20 (in revenue) financial service and insurance sectors. Additionally, we have more than 1,400 financial services organization clients of all sizes. This experience has led our company to breakthroughs that make a measurable impact.
