The Dark Horse Rising Program is a pioneering force in the financial education industry, dedicated to fostering financial wellness among young individuals. As a leader in financial literacy, our organization equips youth with the critical knowledge and skills they need to navigate financial decision-making confidently. Through a combination of structured education, mentorship, and real-world simulations, the company empowers the next generation to achieve financial independence and long-term stability.
Since its inception in 2024, The Dark Horse Rising Program has made significant strides in financial wellness education. One of the organization’s proudest milestones was the successful pilot program launched at Kendrick Middle School. This initiative, designed to introduce students to core financial principles, achieved a 100% completion and participation rate – an extraordinary success. Students reported implementing their newfound financial skills into their daily lives, making more informed decisions about saving, budgeting, and investing. Parents also expressed overwhelming support, eager for continued engagement and future participation in our programs.
As the company’s founder, K. Alexandra Escobar is deeply involved in every aspect of the organization – from curriculum development to direct mentorship and strategic expansion. Community Service Gratitude for Financial Literacy Advocate The Dark Horse Rising
Through the benefaction of The Dark Horse Rising and its founder, K. Alexandra Escobar, the Georgia Financial Educators Council becomes better able to reach its objectives of increasing financial wellness across the Peach State. Young individuals aged 12-17, their parents, and the organizations and educational systems that serve them are particular beneficiaries of these generous donations.
These contributions make it possible to expand our network and build partnerships that support the financial wellness movement in our state. By raising awareness about this important effort, The Dark Horse Rising helps ensure the scalability and sustainability of the GFEC’s financial education initiatives.
