STEM NG2 – with NG2 standing for “Next Generation Squared” – has a stated mission of giving upcoming generations of learners STEM and life skills that inspire in them a sense of empowerment and philanthropy. The company’s co-founder, Dr. Shameka Jones, has witnessed firsthand how financial wellness education and skilled mentorship can change the trajectory of a young person’s life. STEM NG2 particularly focuses on providing financial and life skills education to traditionally underserved communities, but a broad variety of beneficiaries can take advantage of the generous resource donations this community champion organization offers.
Company History
Founded by Drs. Vincent and Shameka Jones in honor of both of their grandmothers, the VeraRosa Higher Learning Scholarship was created to expand access to higher education and inspire the next generation of leaders. The foundation’s name represents two legacies of strength, faith, and perseverance – women who believed deeply in education and community service.
STEM NG², also co-founded by Drs. Vincent and Shameka Jones, was built on the belief that every child deserves access to quality STEM education and individualized learning support. The name NG², which stands for Next Generation Squared, represents the organization’s mission to help children grow as learners while inspiring them to give back and invest in the next generation that follows.
Through VeraRosa Higher Learning Scholarship and STEM NG², Drs. Vincent and Shameka Jones are uniting education, empowerment, and financial literacy into a shared mission – helping families across Georgia and beyond build a future grounded in knowledge and stability.
