She demonstrates a commitment to helping others build greater financial health through her advocacy and philanthropy, proving herself to be a real community champion.
Clearly aligned with the values and mission of the National Financial Educators Council, Dr. Oldham works to empower the underserved with custom financial education programming. Her financial wellness initiatives are underpinned by the values of diversity, inclusiveness, self-care, goal accomplishment, and the power of knowledge.
Personal Statement
Starting RAM Insurance & Financial Services was a journey that I began 35 years ago because I believe everyone should understand personal finance. I am also the owner of RAM Educational Business Solutions, an organization focused on empowering underserved communities and employees through initiatives centered on financial literacy, workforce development, and personalized planning. The organization’s goal is to help companies meet their Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) commitments while aligning with their corporate mission and vision. I believe that, just as you would seek a professional doctor for physical health problems, you should also seek a professional in the financial services industry to improve your financial health. Our advisors use a three-step process: 1) diagnose where you are financially; 2) determine a prognosis; and 3) provide the treatment recommendation. RAM Educational Business Solutions is dedicated to enhancing financial literacy and wealth management skills among companies, organizations, and individuals. Under my leadership, the organization conducts financial educational workshops covering a variety of topics.
These initiatives aim to empower clients with the knowledge and tools necessary to achieve their financial goals and secure stable financial futures. I believe financial literacy education serves as a tool to improve your financial situation at all levels of your life. With a doctorate in education and as the owner of RAM Insurance & Financial Services and RAM Educational Business Solutions, I am qualified to serve on Michigan advisory board advocating for financial literacy. My mission is to contribute to improving the financial wellbeing of all communities. I will reach out to schools, corporations, and organizations to spread the message that financial literacy education will improve both individuals’ lives and the overall economy. I want everyone to know that making steps toward becoming financially literate is an important component of life that can ensure financial solidity, reduce anxiety, and stimulate the achievement of financial goals. I am excited about the opportunity to serve as an Advisory Board member for the Michigan Financial Educators Council. It’s an honor to be on the Michigan Financial Educators Council’s Advisory Board. I look forward to serving this community and strengthening the financial health of my neighbors.
