Anita Williams, Financial Literacy Advocate

Personal Notes

I started my career in my early 20’s as a public school teacher with limited knowledge in the area of financial literacy. As a young teacher I incurred unexpected expenses and random furlough days. I began to think about how I wanted to refrain from living from paycheck to paycheck as I worked to manage my monthly income. I knew there had to be a better way to live. Over time, I sought ways to earn and save money while learning about ways to grow and protect money for my future after retirement.
