Advisory Board Member Kathleen Erhimu was selected by the Nigeria Financial Educators Council as a result of her leadership, advocacy, and community service background. She has three decades of banking and leadership experience, delivering results in the private, public, and non-profit sectors. She is the Group Managing Director of Kudimata Nigeria Ltd, one of the largest and best-in-class providers of financial literacy, financial inclusion, entrepreneurship literacy, economic empowerment tools and services in Nigeria for children, youth, women, and institutions.
Prior to Kudimata, Kathleen held senior executive positions and led corporate impact at Access Bank Plc, Keystone Bank, and Hope PS Bank, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. She serves on the boards of several prestigious finance and FinTech organizations, providing valuable insights and guidance. A significant portion of her earlier career was dedicated to wealth management, where she excelled in managing the financial affairs of ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Her expertise in this field has earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor and wealth management specialist.

With a deep-seated passion for financial literacy and economic empowerment, Kathleen Erhimu’s strategic deployment of knowledge, technology, and grassroots activism enables her to effectively organize, inspire, and drive positive change and contribute to the nation’s progress. One of her notable achievements is the successful training and certification of over 570,000 young people and women in fundamental financial literacy, along with providing business fundamentals training for more than 30,000 entrepreneurs. Furthermore, she played a pivotal role in facilitating the registration of over 30,000 businesses with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) at a substantial discount of 50%.
Kathleen is a highly accomplished professional, holding the prestigious designation of Chartered Banker (MBA) and being a Fellow of several esteemed institutions, including the Chartered Institute of Bankers Nigeria (CIBN), the Micro Finance Association (FMA), the Institute of Management Consultants (IMC-Nigeria), and the National Institute of Credit Administration (FICA).
She is an Associate of the Nigeria Institute of Estate Surveyor and Valuers (NIESV) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, Scotland (MCIBS), the International Council of Management Consulting Institute (ICMCI), and the Estate Surveyor and Registration Board (ESVARBON), among other notable affiliations.
Kathleen has demonstrated exceptional leadership in bridging the gap between traditional and modern democratic societies by actively promoting dialogue and initiatives focused on the development of women and youth in Nigeria and Africa.
