“I was born into adversity and nurtured by experience, but through it all; it prepared me for a better future.” ~Willita Cherie

In the Beginning…

I didn’t come from a “bad” family. My family was my safe haven. I grew up with both sets of grandparents, two parents, brothers, and a plethora of aunts, uncles, and cousins. Our foundation was based in Christianity, therefore I grew up with a strong moral compass.

My Later Years…

My grandmother used to tell her grand kids; that we were “too poor to be dumb”. Therefore, I worked really hard in school to be smart. I was very gifted in sports, so much so, that I was the fastest girl in Northwest Indiana and I was ranked in the nation at one point for track.

I later attended Purdue University and was offered a four-year non-athletic scholarship. I was apart of the track team, but after suffering an injury in high school, that carried over into college; I retired from the sport and found something “less injury prone”.

I switched from pursuing a Business Management degree and decided to be an Athletic Trainer, as well as go through the Entrepreneurship program.

Growing up as a kid I had clear visions that I was to one day build a financial education business. I literally have the “blueprint” somewhere in one of my childhood journals. I truly believe that this is the calling and purpose that God has for my life in this season. I have taken the long way to get here, but I am at your service none-the-less.

How do I want to be remembered?

Through my journey, I want to be known for my Expertise, Originality, and Coaching/Mentoring abilities.

I want to provide the best Evidenced-Based Strategies to financially educate Millennials. I want to help Millennials find the root cause to their “money problems”, and I want to share experiences and techniques that have worked for myself and others.

I want to be known for creating simple strategies to follow, adding humor into my teachings, and being genuine in my delivery. It is my vision to help 45,000,000 Millennials eradicate debt and achieve financial freedom by the year of 2035. It is my mission to empower, educate, and provide financial solutions for Millennials to build young and grow wealthy.

“I was born poor. I plan to die wealthy.” ~Willita Cherie
