I have seen, over my many years in the financial services industry, several significant changes in landscape and mindset… including my own.

My business partner and I had somewhat of an epiphany one afternoon working at the bank.  What value does investment management really have? How can it be quantified?  As financial advisors, we attempted to predict the unknowable and received compensation whether we were right or wrong.  Is this fair?  Why doesn’t anyone educate people about fees and the impact they have on wealth and do it with total objectivity?  There must be a way to share this with the world, help people make good decisions, and earn a living along the way.  There was, and Investment Fee Solutions was born.

 

Bio

Todd has more than a decade of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to co-founding Investment Fee Solutions, Todd held the title of Wealth Management Consultant and Vice President of The Private Client Reserve of U.S. Bank, analyzing high net-worth clients’ comprehensive financial situations and making recommendations based on his analysis.

Todd began his career as a financial advisor at A.G. Edwards, a firm that was purchased by Wachovia. He was recruited by Merrill Lynch, serving as financial advisor with expertise in ERISA retirement plans and financial planning for executives and business owners before joining U.S. Bank.

Todd received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in Merchandising & Music. He has held Series 7 and 66 securities licenses and is an Accredited Asset Management Specialist, AAMS®.
