Terri Gonzalez – Financial Services Professional, College Prep Expert & Financial Literacy Advocate
Personal Notes

Being in the financial industry for over 11 years, I have seen how the cost of college can impact families. I’ve started teaching different strategies on how students can start preparing as early as 9th grade – and how parents can plan and leverage their financial options NOW. You have to know the rules BEFORE you play the game. Knowing what colleges are looking for can save you thousands of dollars – IF you plan ahead and use these strategies.

She can teach parents how to get prepared to send their child to college – starting with an overall review of the child’s image, including social media then moving into the FASFA forms, prepping for SAT/ACT tests, top scholarships and grants available, best college choices for their degree, potential jobs in their graduate’s field – all along the way, getting the parents ready to fund the college – the best college for the least amount of money!
Terri is also a great source of information on Social Security. She teaches workshops on how to use the best Social Security strategy for your retirement income. Sound boring? It is not! This information plays a crucial role in your future! Her goal is to help people make the decisions that “feel right’ and understand their decisions through her teachings.
Terri is a very active person – on the job and off! She enjoys orchestrating fund raising events for various organizations – mainly benefiting the needy: animals and people! She has actually been to a “homeless camp” and has seen how people have to live when they get into financial stress. One of her family members became homeless after Vietnam, and she saw firsthand how devastating this can be for a family. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, gardening, and spending time with her two granddaughters and her dog Blossom.
