Bio
Renee Sterling is a Vice President at an investment bank. She studied accounting and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. She is passionate about personal finance and believes that everyone should learn the basics. At 25, she lost a lot of money and was embarrassed to not have a solid financial foundation. While paying off her debt and saving for an emergency fund; she learned that a lot of people were in a similar situation such as herself. She used that opportunity to learn how to manage her personal finances. She also wanted to share her experience with others and studied to become an NFEC Certified Financial Education Instructor. As a Certified Financial Education Instructor; she wants to teach personal finance that will inspire people to get financially fit. She believes that personal financial fitness can be attained with two things: action and consistency. During her free time, she loves to read, travel, and learn new skills. Knowledge is power.
