Community Champion Organization
Vested Interest Financial Group, LLC

The mission of Community Champion Organization Vested Interest Financial Group, LLC extends beyond simply providing financial coaching services. The organization makes Illinois communities stronger and more resilient by helping individuals and families achieve financial freedom, building business partnerships through financial education, and collaborating with government agencies and organizations for maximum community impact.

Guided by the tenet that financial stability is the foundation of a secure future, Vested Interest Financial Group and its founder, Dorenda Monique Clink, demonstrate a dedication to guiding individuals, businesses, and community organizations through every stage of their financial journeys. Clink and VIFG have a particular goal to reach Black and Brown communities across the Prairie State, bridging traditional gaps in access to financial literacy education. However, all Illinois communities, neighborhoods, beneficiary groups, and individuals can benefit from the generous resource donations sponsored by this community champion organization.

Company History

Vested Interest Financial Group (VIFG) was created out of a lifelong commitment to teaching and community service. From volunteering in classrooms and with youth organizations to speaking with families and community groups, the vision has always been the same: to provide people with the tools and confidence to take charge of their financial futures.

At VIFG, we focus strictly on financial education, coaching, and empowerment. We do not sell insurance or investment products. Instead, our work is rooted in teaching practical skills – budgeting, debt management, savings strategies, and planning for the future – that people can immediately apply to their everyday lives.

Our mission is to help individuals and families break cycles of poverty and build lasting stability. We believe financial literacy is not a luxury, but a necessity; and we are committed to making it accessible, culturally relevant, and actionable. Whether through workshops, one-on-one coaching, or community presentations, our programs are designed to meet people where they are and move them toward where they want to be.

VIFG supports community financial wellness campaigns by:

  • Partnering with schools, churches, and local organizations to expand access to financial education.
  • Offering workshops and coaching tailored to the needs of Black and Brown communities in and around the greater Chicago metropolitan area.
  • Creating programs that combine practical strategies with encouragement and accountability.

At the heart of VIFG is Dorenda Clink, who serves as Director of Community Outreach & Education. With a background in public service, years of experience in financial services, and a lifelong dedication to volunteerism and teaching, she leads the organization with a clear purpose: to empower people to move from surviving to thriving.

Vested Interest Financial Group is proud to champion financial education as a key to stronger families, stronger communities, and brighter futures.
