I was frustrated too – basic financial education should be part of our schooling. It’s not. After beginning my professional career by advising high net worth families, I realized those who really could benefit from my advice couldn’t afford to pay the firm where I worked. Year later, I started Total Candor, a financial education company, to provide truly empowering fiscal advice. After all, getting your financial act together isn’t complicated. All it takes is a basic education, some inspiration, and a whole bunch of motivation. In my workshops, I provide all three. At the end, there’s a lot less fear and a lot more saving.

Michael B. Rubin is a Certified Financial Planner professional and a Certified Public Accountant. But don’t let that scare you. With Michael, you’ll see learning about money does not have to be difficult or boring. In addition to his prior experience providing sophisticated financial advice to affluent clients, Michael has been a key source of information for more than 20 years to countless others. He speaks passionately about and provides guidance on virtually all personal financial planning topics.
