My excitement to teach and help others achieve financial security is only rivaled by my creativity in making an otherwise boring or stressful subject entertaining and fun. By engaging the students with conversation and sharing of my own personal stories, games and contests, the information is retained and the excitement to implement is contagious. My view is that a strong community is built on the health and wealth of each household. My goal is help spread a sense of pride that comes along with accomplishing financial goals and then have those individuals pay it forward. The most rewarding accomplishment is facilitating the success of others!

Bio

Marcia Watts’ motivation to educate the community manifested from early years of struggling financially as a single mother.  Once overcoming and rebuilding, it became clear that a few lessons and necessary information would have helped avoid many common financial pitfalls.

Over the years, Marcia has gained the knowledge, expertise, and desire to help others avoid wasting time and money traveling the same long hard road as she, before arriving to understanding and clarity towards achieving financial goals.

Marcia has dedicated over 20 years in the Mortgage and Financial Industries. Several of those years were dedicated towards Debt, Credit, and Housing counseling. As a certified counselor, she spent many hours teaching and coaching individuals and families how to repair their credit, overcome debt, create a workable budget, and repairing their overall financial health. Marcia has also conducted countless workshops and lectures on qualifying for a Mortgage, recognizing affordability, and sharing effective tools to navigate through unforeseen hardships.  Although Marcia holds a bachelor’s degree in Business and is a Certified Financial Educator, her biggest accomplishment is the raising of a financially responsible son. Watching him learn and implement the skills and knowledge to secure his future as well as future generations has been the greatest reward of both her professional and personal lives. This reward has only increased the desire to continue helping individuals and families build futures of financial heath and wealth.
