Bio
Karen is a professional speaker who educates people from all walks of life on how to find their path to empowerment and success; a dynamic and exciting speaker and author who provides an inspiring and unique delivery that keeps her audience captivated. She wields over 25 years of experience as an entrepreneur and manager within the financial services industry. Karen is the author of “Nobody Told Me! The Path to Financial Empowerment”.
From personal empowerment to professional growth, Karen is recognized as an expert in the financial services industry. She serves as a financial media consultant for local television and radio stations. She appears weekly on the “Women, Wisdom & Wealth” segment on the WIS TV 10 News Live @ 5, a NBC Affiliate.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from the University of South Carolina and completed SC Bankers School before going on to obtain her Masters in Business Administration from Webster University, St. Louis, Missouri. She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Carolina and Allen University in Columbia, South Carolina.
Karen has shared her dynamic message with thousands of people in a wide variety of industries including colleges, universities, housing, banking, corporate, non-profits, government, civic and church groups.
