James Allen of Billpin – Public Notification

It has come to our attention that an individual by the name of James Allen, associated with Billpin, has purportedly asserted himself as a Certified Financial Education Instructor (CFEI) and employed the CFEI acronym across his social media platforms, websites, and third-party news articles. However, upon thorough review, our records do not substantiate any documentation confirming James Allen’s attainment of the aforementioned credentials, nor any evidence of his enrollment in the relevant certification program.

In pursuit of clarity, our legal representative has made repeated attempts to establish communication with Mr. James Allen via Billpin and social channels, urging him to substantiate the veracity of his claimed credentials. Regrettably, no response has been forthcoming from Mr. Allen in this regard. It is pertinent to note that subsequent to our overtures, Mr. Allen has proceeded to expunge the references to the asserted credentials from his diverse online assets.

This public declaration is issued with the intent of safeguarding the interests of the general public, while concurrently affording Mr. Allen an opportunity to initiate dialogue with us preemptively, thus potentially precluding the initiation of legal proceedings pertaining to trademark infringement.
