Credentialing Process

The NFEC’s review of program resources is a rigorous process that involves examination of all financial literacy program resources to ensure their alignment with learner standards.

Those who use non-NFEC produced materials go through a detailed review of lesson plans, teaching methodologies, student guides, and overall program alignment with learning standards. For those who utilize NFEC financial literacy education resources, lesson time is what is listed on each individual lesson, unless reasons for lesson time are documented.

We do provide feedback and give you the ability to modify and change your submission. Our team works with you to help ensure that your resources are in alignment with the financial literacy standards.
